Summer holidays in the Alps, an unforgettable experience!

Those who only know Flachau in winter are missing out on many things because the summer months are at least as interesting, if not even more!

Our varied activity programme offers something for everyone and you too are sure to find an activity to suit your taste!

1) Horse riding
Horse riding is our speciality and that is why we have even created a special area on our website devoted to it.

Under "Horse-riding" you will find detailed information on the range of services provided.

2) Cycling
For cyclists we provide ladies' and men's bicycles together with child transporters, children's seats and, of course, children's bicycles in different sizes.
Flachau offers stunning cycle routes for the whole family. Our guided cycling tour will whet your appetite. At the reception desk we will be happy to give you advice on the right trip for you, together with a route description and a map.
Experienced mountain-bikers can take lessons at local centres and go on challenging bike rides.

3) Tennis
Flachau prides itself on an indoor tennis court with first-class infill granulate carpet flooring and two outdoor clay courts.

4) Trampolining
The trampolining facilities are approx. 800 metres away.
All additional trampolining not included in the programme costs €1/15 minutes/person.

5) Swimming
For those who love swimming there is the nearby free "Reitecksee" bathing lake (five to ten minutes on foot).
Other swimming facilities close by are the following:
• Flachauwinkl (Rohrsee) bathing lake
• Eben bathing lake
• Amadé water adventure park
• Schladming aquatic adventure park
• Thermal baths in the immediate surroundings (Gastein, Golling, Berchtesgaden)

6) Hiking and climbing
Flachau and its surroundings offer countless hiking paths of varying degrees of difficulty.
The exceptionally beautiful spots of our guided hiking tour are accessible for everyone.
The reception desk offers information on further trips and has a range of hiking maps and guides for you to borrow or to buy.

In local adventure centres with professionally trained staff you will learn the necessary know-how to overcome all problems encountered on the high ropes course and natural or artificial climbing walls.

7) Skating
For those who like snake-boarding, inline-skating or skateboarding, there are two facilities in the close vicinity.

8) Cultural excursions
Thanks to immediate access to the Tauern motorway (A 10) we are the ideal starting point for day trips and excursions for example to the city of Salzburg, the Hallein salt mine, the Hohenwerfen fortress, the largest ice caves on earth at the Eisriesenwelt, the open air museum in Großgmain, the Lichtenstein gorge, the Leogang show mines or the Museum for Celtic Culture in Hallein.
Holders of the SalzburgerLand-Card can visit most of these sights at a reduced price or free of charge.

9) Action Sports
For those looking for even more action local sport centres offer canyoning, rafting, paragliding, zorbing or kayaking.
